Mrs. Rebecca Shue

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | MSSW, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 17 years of experience providing Christian counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate difficult seasons, heal from past wounds, strengthen their relationships, and grow in emotional and spiritual health.

My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in both biblical truth and sound clinical practice. I believe God is the source of all truth and understanding, and that psychology can be a valuable resource for helping us better understand how He has created us. I integrate faith and evidence-based therapeutic approaches in a way that honors the whole person.

I am trained in EMDR and have additional training in Focused Marriage Therapy, which is a primary approach I use when working with couples. I enjoy helping couples better understand the patterns that keep them disconnected, strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and create healthier relationships.

In addition to counseling, I have spent more than a decade teaching and mentoring graduate social work students. I love helping people understand not only what creates change, but why it works.

Above all, my heart is to create a safe place where people can be honest about where they are while also discovering where God is inviting them to grow. I believe meaningful transformation happens when we are willing to bring our whole selves—our stories, relationships, emotions, and faith—into the healing process.
