ABOUT
The name Luke means “light,” and I see my role as helping people find light in the unexplored places of their hearts and stories.

As a therapist and writer, I walk alongside individuals and couples as they pursue greater emotional, relational, and spiritual health. I believe our stories shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and God, and that meaningful healing often begins when we slow down and pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface. My work explores emotions, relationships, trauma, unwanted or recurring behaviors, and the patterns that shape how we live. Rather than simply focusing on changing behavior, I seek to understand what is happening beneath it and help clients move toward lasting change, greater freedom, connection, and wholeness.

My approach is grounded in the Christian faith and informed by the belief that we are made for relationship—with God, with others, and with our own hearts. I seek to create a safe, compassionate space where faith can be thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process in a way that honors your story and where you are in your journey.

My own life has been shaped by marriage, parenthood, teaching and coaching, friendships, cancer, writing, and my own experience as a counseling client. These experiences have deepened my conviction that caring for our hearts matters. My hope is to help you recover and live more fully from your heart so that you can love deeply, live with greater integrity, and more fully offer yourself to the world around you.
